E.V. Day (b. 1967) is a New York-based installation artist and sculptor celebrated for her dynamic, gravity-defying works that explore themes of sexuality, humor, and feminism. Her practice reimagines iconic imagery from popular culture, transforming the familiar into striking sculptural forms that confront and complicate gender norms and social stereotypes. Day gained early acclaim with Bombshell at the 2000 Whitney Biennial, and her work has since been collected by major institutions including MoMA, SFMOMA, and the Whitney Museum.
